A great Christmas and New Year!

My entry will be short today--I've got some errands to run and must get ready to go.
I just got back from a lovely (but dry) trip to Yosemite this New Year's weekend. Though there was still water in the falls and the river, there was no snow on the ground and it was a little sad to see. It was nice and chilly, and we saw quite a few deer while we were walking around. It was nice to get out and stretch the legs a little bit. I can't wait to go back in spring and see how things look...I'm worried that if we don't start getting some rain or snow, it won't look very good.
